About Kathleen's Catch

Fresh Fish Market

Located at 3434 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta, GA 30319, Kathleen's Catch operates as a seafood market serving Atlanta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (678) 705-3761. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is kathleenscatch.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 93 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded seafood markets in Atlanta.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Atlanta peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The salmon burger was an affordable tasty bite. Crispy salmon with arugula, tomato and aioli sauce. The coleslaw is bright, crispy and crunchy. Go for it.

UPDATE 7/25/26 - Kathleen reached out to the meal kit provider and is making us whole, which is appreciated. I am changing my review from 2 to 4 stars as a result. We used to buy fish directly from Kathleen’s, but they closed the two stores near us. So now the only time we get it is when the local meal kit company we use has Kathleen’s fish in their kits. A few weeks ago one of our meal kits included mahi. I was shocked at how small the portions were and checked with the meal kit company. They confirmed the portions should have been larger. We gave it another try this week with another mahi meal kit. This time I decided to weigh the fish before cooking. The package says 8 oz. When I weighed it in the package it was only 7 oz. Then I weighed it without the package. It was less than 6 oz! Complete rip off. I’ve already told the meal kit company I will never order anymore kits that include fish from Kathleen’s. Completely unacceptable for Kathleen’s to sell portions that are 30% less than what the package shows.

I've been wanting to try this place, Have Not Yet, but now after reading a lot of Negative reviews and how the prices are outrageous, I don't think I will. Specially that I get a small Disability check and only $24.00 month in food stamps. 2 questions, do you take Food Stamp?& reading reviews about mushy fish and bad fish, 2 do you take back any bad stuff as in the negative reviews I read, for an exchange or refund? Thank you very much Oh, do you also have Senior Discounts?( sorry 3 questions 🀭) Have a blessed day. πŸ¦…πŸ™πŸ©ΈπŸ‘πŸ«Ά

I have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Great selection. Fresh caught. Never frozen. Only complaint is Kathleen store is a 30 minute drive. If she was closer I would probably come several times a week.

We have been to Kathleen’s Catch many times. The Seafood is fresh and fabulous. There are many choices. We BBQ,d Ahi Tuna and Mahi Mahi. We also purchased Corbina for later this week. If you want Reastaurant grade meals without the price, check them out. Check out the Extremely fish selection pictures. The Fresh Corvina Fish ($10.99 almost the same price as fast food) looks like sashimi grade. We browned it in a hot pan - with olive oil and butter. Absolutely delicious, mild, no fish taste and affordable. Also had their shucked oysters with champagne vinaigrette- $1.75 each. Great fish, affordable prices , and staff. Kathleen is there on a regular basis to interact with.
